Cape Ann Learn to Play

"Learn to Play" (LTP would be considered a level up from "Learn to Skate".) The "Learn to Play" (LTP) format is a similar concept of training as our Cross-Ice program for ages 5 to 10 but focused on players that have started to skate independently and can stand up on the ice under their own strength. The program objectives are to help coach and improve the fundamentals of skating technique, introduce challenging drills + games to improve balance/strength, introduce puck handling/passing/shooting technique that will help players progress and move towards the Cross-ice program in the future.

The LTP program is offered to players that have been in LTS for 1 or 2 years, ages 5 to 10 (2010 to 2016) that have gained the ability to skate on their own without a coach's physical assistance. The ice sessions will start on November 6 and will  be on Saturday's from 9-9:50am and will meet for 18 weeks. (One ice session per weekend)   Cost $220

Required Equipment - Skates, helmet with cage, hockey pants, knee pads, elbow pads, shoulder pads, gloves, garter belt or hockey shorts to keep up socks, hockey sticks
